Happy Monday! If you've never heard of Society6, I'm so excited to introduce you.
Society6 provides a platform for thousands of artists throughout the world to share their work, connect with retail opportunities and make a profit from their art. The folks at Society6 produce, package and ship the products, giving the artists more time to focus on, well, art. What's that mean for us? A very cool, diverse collection of gallery quality prints by some extraordinarily talented artists at affordable prices. Here's what caught my eye. And yes, it was terribly difficult to select just a few.
Pleasant Balance by Florever
Watercolor landscapes by Plenent (many to choose from)
Male and female cardinals by Eastwitching
Familiar artists like Katie Daisy
and gorgeous abstracts by Jenny Vorwaller.
There's also lots of art for kids spaces. How sweet is this French quote from The Little Prince? Love! $18 for an 8x10.
These animal prints by Creature Comforts are cute, too.
Are you ready for this? The art is available unframed, framed, as a stretched canvas, as an iphone or laptop case, a shirt, a tote and as a pillow cover. Yes, pillow covers! I die over this elephant pillow cover by artist Monica Gifford. At $20, I think these are very reasonable.
Love the orange pattern on this iphone case by Elisa Sandoval and the gorgeous colors on this one by artist Amy Sia.
The site is fairly easy to navigate and searchable by style (typography, children's, photography) but not necessarily by medium (watercolor, graphic art.) Although there is a wide range of diverse prints, there's a lot of contemporary-style art, so if that isn't your thing, you may have to spend a little more time digging around. When you set up an account, you'll be able to comment on artist's work as well as help promote them and follow their projecst, too.
Do you guys love this site as much as me? Talk about eye candy...
